A rebuilt terminal, lower evaluation prices, more markets, and higher leverage. Here is what changed, what is still coming, and what we left alone.
From day one, we have been committed to two things: listening to traders and building the best place for them to trade. Lately, that has meant tearing down a lot of what old Breakout used to be and replacing it with something better: Breakout 2.0.
Here is everything that changed, what is still on the way, and what we made sure not to mess with.
What Breakout 2.0 got better
- A new terminal and mobile app. Faster, more stable, with new features shipping on an ongoing basis. If you tried Breakout months back and bounced because the terminal was a mess, the difference is night and day. See the Breakout Terminal launch.
- Way lower prices. We cut the cost of evaluations by as much as 43% across the board.
- Multiple accounts. You can now run several evaluations or funded accounts at once, with up to $200,000 in funded capital active at any time (for example, a $100,000 funded account and two $50,000 evaluations).
- Pay with Payouts. Use your winnings to fund new evaluations without leaving the portal.
- New markets beyond crypto. We added the Nasdaq 100 (XYZ100), the S&P 500, WTI crude oil (CL) and silver (SILVER), and more are on the way. We are not (just) a crypto shop anymore.
- Higher leverage. 10x on BTC, the Nasdaq 100, and the S&P 500. Most alts now sit at 3x to 5x. Full detail in the 10x leverage announcement and the follow-up across the rest of the book.
And while it is not technically a Breakout product, our co-founder Trader Mayne has put together 19 completely free, deep-dive training videos (and counting) on trading, to help traders of all experience levels take money out of our pockets. Nice guy.
What’s still coming
Our roadmap is full: more assets, better notifications, new account options, more ways to get rewarded, and a few things we are not ready to name yet.
We are still listening, in Discord, on social, and everywhere else traders talk to us.
What did not change
Some things were already right on Breakout, so we left them alone:
- On-demand payouts, 24/7 on Breakout: so you can withdraw and get back to trading.
- Simple rules: no consistency rules, time limits, minimum trading days, or news restrictions to track. A funded account runs the same two limits you passed the evaluation under.
- Pricing that is clear upfront: no activation fees, no surprise costs after checkout, no gauntlet of add-ons just to get to the trading part.
- Trader-friendly environment: the account auto-upgrades to funded the moment you hit the target, even with positions still open, so you do not have to babysit the close. And there is no profit cap on Breakout once you are funded.
Time for a second look (or a fresh start)
If it has been a while since you traded on Breakout, this is the moment to come back and see what changed. If you never left, thank you for sticking with us while we continue to level up.
More is coming.
If you are new here, start with how funded trading works, then buy an evaluation when you are ready.
Old Breakout is gone. Breakout 2.0 is the one to trade.
