Prop trading with Breakout is simple:
You pass a trading test to receive a trading account that is funded by Breakout.

What is prop trading the Breakout way?

Take the Test
Pay an upfront fee to take the trading test. Grow the account while staying within the account’s loss limits.
If You Pass
You get upgraded to a funded account. Stick to the same loss limits and withdraw your trading profits on-demand.
If You Fail
You only lose the test fee, not your own capital. Restart anytime by taking a new test.
No Deposits Required
You do not have to deposit your assets or fund the account yourself. You only pay the test fee.
Breakout provides all the capital.

Once funded and in profit, you can request on-demand payouts in USDC straight to your wallet. Request as many payouts as you’d like, every day of the week.

What is a prop trading firm?
A prop trading firm lets you trade with company capital instead of your own. You take a test to prove your skills, and if you pass, Breakout funds you with up to $100,000.
Why do I need to pay a fee to trade?
It’s a one-time cost to prove you can trade profitably within risk rules. You never deposit personal funds, only the upfront evaluation fee.
What happens if I fail the evaluation?
The account closes for that attempt. You don’t owe money, and you can start again with a new test at any time. The fee is non-refundable.
What are drawdown rules?

Drawdown limits are guardrails that restrict how much you can lose in a day and overall. A detailed guide is available HERE

Do funded accounts have the same rules as the evaluation?
Yes. Funded accounts follow the same drawdown rules as the evaluation. The difference is that in the funded stage there’s no profit target – you can trade at your own pace. If you breach the drawdown rules, the account is closed, and you’d need to start a new test to try again.
How is Breakout different from trading on Kraken?
Breakout offers a similar interface and liquidity to Kraken Pro, but you don’t need to fund your account. Instead, you pass an evaluation and trade with Breakout’s capital.
Do I keep my profits?
Yes. You keep 80% of profits by default, with an option to upgrade to 90% when choosing your test. There’s no profit cap.
How do payouts work?
Once you’re funded, you can request payouts on demand, 24/7, in USDC via the Breakout Dashboard. Withdrawals are usually processed within 24 hours. Payouts are not available during the test itself.
What assets can I trade?
Breakout offers 58+ crypto pairs with up to 5x leverage on BTC and ETH, and 2x leverage on other pairs.
