What is the Breakout referral program?
Earn account credit when referrals join Breakout and meet the qualifying requirements. Credit amounts are set by Breakout and subject to a monthly cap. Any registered Breakout user can generate and share a referral link without purchasing an evaluation or completing identity verification first. You must complete identity verification and meet the program’s geographic eligibility requirements before referral credit is issued.
How do I earn referral credit?
Share your link from the Referrals section of your dashboard. Your friend must be new to Breakout, complete identity verification, and purchase their first evaluation.
When will I receive my credit?
Credit is earned when your friend completes identity verification. Please allow 14 days for the credit to be added to your account.
Does referral credit expire?
Yes. Each credit is valid for 30 days from the day it becomes available, and is spendable on evaluation purchases.
How can I use my referral credit?
Referral credit applies to the base price of an evaluation. It cannot be used with discount codes, and it cannot be applied to add-ons or the 90/10 upsell.
Can my friend use a discount code as well?
Not together. If both a referral link and a discount code are applied on the first order, the discount code is used.
Is there a limit to how much I can earn?
Refer as many friends as you like. Credit is capped at $500 each month, which works out to 20 qualified referrals.
Where can I track my referrals?
You can view your referral status, credit balance, and more from the 'Refer a Friend' tab in the portal.
In order to qualify for a Referral Credit the friend you refer must sign up, purchase an evaluation, and provide identity verification. No paid advertising: you cannot promote your invite link using paid search marketing, social media ads, or sponsored posts. Doing so will result in your invite link being deactivated, and you will not receive any Referral Credits for referrals made using that link. You may, however, share your invite link through text messaging, email and messaging apps. Referral Credits are not guaranteed: while Breakout makes a good faith effort to pay Referral Credits, we do not guarantee payouts on every referral. Breakout reserves the right to limit, modify, or terminate the referral program at any time, for any reason, and without notice.
